The Clinic
Free services that foster the future of therapy
The Clinic is what we consider a "win-win" situation:
Therapy clients receive free services
+
Graduate level therapy students gain experience
The Details...
Student therapists work towards graduation by seeing clients, just like any other therapist would. Students may offer individual, couples, or family therapy. Whether you are looking for support dealing with life's stressors, improving your relationships, or creating healthier family dynamics, we are here to help!
To ensure quality care, graduate students work with experienced supervisors. To aid their growth, your student therapist may ask whether you are comfortable with sessions being recorded--your consent is extremely helpful, but not at all required!
Sessions may occur in-person or via Telehealth, depending on your preference and availability.
Since our student therapists are still gaining experience, services are offered offered completely free of cost:
No payment method or insurance information needed
We want services to be accessible for everyone! If finances are a barrier, let's discuss a sliding-scale option that works for you.

Do you accept insurance?

Why should I choose a student therapist?
While student therapists don't have the years of experience, there are several benefits of choosing a student therapist, including:
-
They are in the midst of their education, meaning that they are immersed in current evidence-based practices, therapy ethics, and personal reflection
-
They operate under the supervision of an experienced therapist
-
They are energized by the start of their work and open to learn
-
They have smaller caseloads, allowing them to focus on you
-
You receive quality therapy at a lower cost
-
You are helping a young therapist on their professional journey!
