My name is Juan Turón, PhD, LMFT

Dr. Turon prioritizes context and systems thinking in his clinical work, and specializes in the treatment of anxiety, couples, and families. With a curious mindset and a multicultural view on relationships, Dr. Turon challenges certainties and invites individuals, couples, and families to become their own engines of change.

Dr. Turon earned his bachelor’s degree of Arts in General Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, his master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, and studied abroad at Cambridge University where he attended summer courses in the subject of anthropology.

Today, Dr. Turon supervises university students of therapy and is the owner and clinical director of this small therapy clinic, operating entirely virtually, out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

My name is Dayra Marshall-Brown, LPC

Dayra’s clinical approach emphasizes fostering personal accountability (agency), one of two evidenced contributors to mental health. With her caring, yet direct, approach and style, Dayra fosters her clients ‘attitude towards life, empowering them to seek resilience through agency and action.

Dayra has a master’s degree in professional counseling and a Virginia state license as a professional counselor. Currently, Dayra actively pursues becoming a licensed clinical supervisor.

Hello! My name is Samara J Williams. I am a Resident in Counseling with a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a current PhD student in Counselor Education and Supervision at Old Dominion University. I practice under the supervision of Dr. Juan Turón, PhD, LMFT, a respected supervisor and published author in clinical supervision, whose guidance in systems thinking, cultural responsiveness, and ethical decision making directly enhances the quality of care I provide.
I work with a diverse range of clients, including couples and individuals from adolescence through adulthood. My approach is person-centered, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based practices, with a strong commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.
Born in Germany and proud to be biracial, I bring a multicultural perspective shaped by my military background, nonprofit leadership, and experience as a parent in a blended family. I am here to walk alongside you with empathy, authenticity, and a deep respect for your unique path toward healing and growth.

As a registered intern in Marriage and Family Therapy, with great clinical instinct and a seemingly innate sense of systems thinking, Armirah invites change in couples and families, prioritizing forgiveness to free individuals from prisons of their own making.

Currently, Armirah is at the tail end of her registered internship to become a licensed marriage and family therapist.
